Events of 2017 and 2018

In the past year, Nuneaton has hosted quite a number of interesting events that attracted locals and tourists equally.

Dressing the Women from Poldark, the event continues from 22nd July 2017 to 10th September 2017 every day; the event is hosted in Museum and Art Gallery at Reversely Park, right at the centre of the town. The event highlights the display of various outfits worn by women characters in the hit TV show.

Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water is held from 15th July 2017 to 10th September 2017 every day. The exhibition is held by the Museum & Art Gallery adjacent to the town centre. This would include 30 artists across Australia, UK and USA who will present their woven tapestries. The small-scale crafts would show how different approaches are worked with the woven tapestry technique.

Think about World Culture Objects is an exhibition at Museum and Art Gallery at Rivers Park, Coton Road. The exhibition starts from 8th July to 1st October 2017, every day. It exhibits the different unique objects from different cultures and how they mean different things to different people. How these objects have ceremonial, artistic and functional values attached to them in different cultures around the world. The Museum has a nationally significant lot of unique items from different parts of the world.
